Four Rivers Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities to rebuild, grow, and thrive. Rooted in compassion and guided by service, we provide essential support to displaced families and those in need—helping them find stability through access to food, housing, health insurance, and employment opportunities.
Our mission extends beyond direct aid. Four Rivers Collective also partners with small businesses, offering strategic consulting and staffing solutions to help them expand, create jobs, and strengthen the local economy.
In addition to our community and business programs, we provide lab and imaging services, counseling, and ministry outreach, ensuring that physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met with care and respect.

Meet the Founder
Dr. Britney LaJoy Elzey, Ph.D.
Woman of God | Wife | Mother | Philanthropist | Visionary Leader
Dr. Britney Elzey—affectionately known as Dr. Joy—is a woman whose life is a powerful testimony of faith, perseverance, and purpose. A devoted wife and proud mother of four, Dr. Brit embodies grace and strength through every role she serves.
A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her Ph.D., Dr. Joy also holds a Master’s in Divinity and a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration. Her academic journey reflects her deep commitment to both spiritual and professional excellence.
Dr. Joys’s passion for philanthropy runs deep. She currently serves as Program Director at the Coalition of Sex Trafficking Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring the lives of survivors. Her connection to this mission is profoundly personal—having overcome her own experience as a trafficking victim at the age of 17, she now uses her voice and platform to bring hope, healing, and awareness to others.
A cancer survivor and overcomer of a challenging childhood raised by a single mother, Dr. Brit has turned her pain into purpose. She finds joy in helping others rediscover theirs.
Today, Dr. Joy is a thriving entrepreneur with a heart for her community. She is the proud owner of a Family Wellness Clinic in Bartlett, TN, two childcare centers in Memphis, and a day spa in Cordova. Together with her husband, Paul—Vice President of 4RCo—she also co-owns a roadside assistance service.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Joy remains deeply rooted in her faith. She has been a devoted member of Golden Gate Cathedral in Memphis, TN, under the leadership of Bishop Ed Stephens III, since 1996, where she was baptized and continues to serve faithfully.
With a compassionate spirit and a heart to serve, Dr. Britney LaJoy Elzey is dedicated to uplifting others, building stronger families, and empowering her community—one act of kindness at a time.

At Four Rivers Collective, we are dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and businesses through a comprehensive range of professional and community-focused services. We provide compassionate displaced family support, along with health insurance assistance, food programs, and access to medical care to ensure stability and wellness for those in need.
For organizations and professionals, we offer expert business consulting, practice management, human resources, and billing support designed to help your operations run efficiently and effectively. Our laboratory and diagnostic services include full-panel phlebotomy, DNA testing, ink fingerprinting, pre-employment screenings, DOT drug testing, background checks, and a variety of standard lab tests such as COVID-19, HIV screenings, and vitamin disorder assessments.
Additionally, we provide counseling and life coaching for teens, helping young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop positive life skills for a brighter future.
